EVVA owes a lot to Karl Jindrich, who died on 7 September. Jindrich passed on 50% of the company to his wife, Hedwig, and the other half to his daughter, Eva. Together with associate Alfred Pitsch, who Eva later married, they managed the company as a team of three. Eva Pitsch took over the actual management of the company. She was a fully-trained master mechanic, had good technical knowledge and was not afraid to get her hands dirty. However, it became clear some years later that the company’s management did not have such a good understanding of the commercial management side.
