EVVA, in collaboration with the renowned Fraunhofer Austria Research GmbH, takes first place for its ‘assembly system of the future’ in the ‘Call Pro Industry’, which was awarded by the Wirtschaftsagentur Wien (Vienna Business Agency) for the first time. The planned ‘assembly system of the future’ will essentially build on the combination of three conceptual pillars, the ‘Cyber-Physical System, ‘Digital Machine Operator Assistance Program’ and ‘One Piece Flow Work Organisation’. The aim of the project is to inquire into and define the demands, to design a future process and system architecture and to develop a test of the prototypical, intelligent and replicable assembly units.
