Karl Jindrich lost. However, he did lose at a fortunate time, if you can call it that. He just needed to get through a few months, because a short time later, the victory of the Allied Forces would end the Second World War. That also saved EVVA. If the letters had been written only a few months earlier, EVVA would have most likely been stripped of the basis of its profitability before the end of the war. EVVA as an independent company would have vanished into thin air.
