Owners Eva and Alfred Pitsch as well as Hedwig Jindrich were aware of how serious the situation was and wanted to sell the company. They themselves were unable or unwilling to save EVVA. The owners and Nikolaus Bujas knew each other, and Nikolaus Bujas was highly regarded as a specialist.
