EVVA gets involved in Salto Systems, one of the recently established companies in the electronic access control field. EVVA takes over general sales of Salto products, such as escutcheons and later also cylinders featuring iButton, Proximity or smart card technologies, in the countries where it operates subsidiaries. As part of that cooperation, in 2005 EVVA launched iLocker, an electronic supplementary and cubicle lock, which was developed in-house. In 2012 the cooperation with Salto ended. With the development of Xesar and AirKey, EVVA was once again able to invent and utilise electronic security solutions that met the company's own standards.
