Prevention instead of cure

How long have you been working with EVVA?
From 2009 onwards, our company was gradually converted and realigned from a locksmith’s business to security technology. Gaßner & Manz has become a popular point of contact for all questions on the subject of burglary protection. In our consulting, we always focus on prevention. “We always try to explain to our customers that it is better to take action sooner rather than later”. Another milestone on our path to success was the increased cooperation with EVVA in 2012. In the same year, we also took the leap towards electronic access control systems. In April 2014, we completed a number of training courses at the EVVA Training Centre in Vienna and are still a certified EVVA partner for electronic access systems. As the Xesar and AirKey systems were also completely new products for EVVA, getting started was of course a “rocky” road for both sides. Thanks to the good cooperation with the Sales & Technology departments, we were able to overcome the many “initial headaches” and implement some great projects together. Today, both systems are well established on the market.
Is there an example of cooperation with EVVA?
A particular strength of the systems for us is the connection between all EVVA mechanical systems and the electronic systems through the use of combi keys. As a result, we succeeded in perfectly connecting both worlds, which we were able to demonstrate in 2018 in a large project with the Kaprun glacier tracks. Today, EVVA is one of our main suppliers and together we have already been able to implement numerous projects in surrounding communities, leisure facilities, schools, nurseries, fire brigades and many developers, but also with private customers.
What do you value about EVVA?
In all our activities, we appreciate EVVA’s high level of delivery reliability, which has helped us overcome difficult times in particular. Even in this phase, we never had any noticeable delays in the delivery of EVVA products. It’s simply a good feeling to have a partner by your side who is there even if a project is not running as smoothly as planned. For us as users, an electronic access control system is only as good as the service in the background. And this is very much the case at EVVA.
